Who peed on the couch?

No one did, but that'd didn't stop Riley from asking that question this morning.  After our usual Saturday morning donuts, which were eaten on the couch instead of at her table, there was a mess of dried donut glaze on the couch.  I wiped the couch down with a wet cloth to clean it up.  A few minutes later, as we were getting ready to head over to the Little Gym, Riley climbed onto the couch so that we could put her shoes on.  When she climbed up, she noticed it was a little wet, and her very surprised reaction was:  "Oh!  Who peed on the couch!?"  :)  Gotta love it.

Day three of mystery sickness for Jackson.  He had a high temperature of 102 on Thursday, which then went down and back up throughout the night, and yesterday as well.  No other symptoms, and after a quick trip to Acute Kids urgent care last night, no ear infection that we were suspecting might be there.  After having a rough morning, he's somewhat back to normal, fever seems to be gone, back to eating well (or at least better than yesterday), but still not sure what the verdict is.  Hopefully it was just a random virus which has now worked its way through and gone.  I suppose we shall see tonight.

Today finally brought us In-N-Out Burger.  For the first time the line wasn't ridiculous, so Riley and I stopped to pick it up on our way home from the Gym.  Definitely better than the usual fast-food burgers (Whataburger, McDonalds, etc), but still...nowhere near worth all the hype nor the hours long wait some were willing to endure in the weeks after it opened.  But definitely a pretty good burger.  Riley liked the fries, but that's not really saying much since she pretty much likes any fry.
