For a while now, Riley has enjoyed picking up the older camera and taking pictures (gee, I wonder where she gets that idea). At first we thought it was just kind of cute, but over the past month or so, she has actually gotten pretty good with it. While her subjects may sometimes be random, the one thing that we really started noticing was how she usually gets what she wants centered pretty darn well.

It is a kick just to see what interests her and what she wants a picture of. Sometimes it may be one or all of us, sometimes it may be "her" rock out front, or the hose, or her "coconut" off the Crepe Myrtle, or "Queen" (Lightning McQueen from "Cars"), or just any little thing that pops into that head of hers. As one who has a camera in my hands seemingly all the time, I think it's the coolest thing. I hope that she really enjoys it and wants to do it more as she gets older. Either way, it's providing entertainment at the moment, and also provides me the chance to step out from behind the camera and step into a few shots as well. :)
